The Role

Overview

Manage receipt, storage, inventory, and distribution of Army equipment turn-ins.

Tasks

-Support coordination with transportation personnel for outbound shipments. -Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other MHE to safely move and stage equipment. -Perform location surveys, bin checks, and cyclic inventories to maintain accountability. -Coordinate staging and movement of items into designated warehouse or yard areas. -Input and update property transactions in Army logistics systems such as GCSS-Army, DPAS, or LMP. -Maintain warehouse logs, inventory control sheets, and daily activity records. -Support audit readiness through accurate recordkeeping in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System. -Check turn-in documents (DA Form 1348-1A, DD Form 200, hand receipts) for completeness and accuracy. -Support preparation for Property Accountability Reviews (PARs) and audits. -Provide assistance to unit supply personnel delivering equipment to the site. -Resolve discrepancies in documentation and coordinate corrections with supervisors. -Assist in inspection and condition coding of items before storage or disposition. -Store, organize, and maintain items in warehouse locations in compliance with DA PAM 710-2-1 and AR 735-5. -Receive and verify equipment and materiel turned in from Army units. -Ensure safe handling of hazardous materials and compliance with environmental regulations. -Assist in packaging, labeling, and preparing equipment for shipment or redistribution. -Maintain segregation of serviceable, unserviceable, HAZMAT, and sensitive items.

What You Bring

-Ability to read and process Army documentation (DA and DD forms). -Strong organizational, recordkeeping, and teamwork skills. -Forklift/MHE operation certification (OF 346) preferred. -Familiarity with Army turn-in and supply procedures highly desirable. -Army supply/property accountability regulations (AR 710-2, AR 735-5, DA PAM 710-21). -Ability to work in high-tempo, large-volume turn-in environments. -High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in logistics or supply preferred. -Must have a Real ID. -Must be able to travel within the US when/if required. -Army logistics systems (GCSS-Army, LMP, DPAS). -2-4 years of warehouse, supply, or logistics experience (Army or contractor preferred). -Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). -Must have a valid state driver's license for the state of North Carolina w/proof of insurance.
