Estimate drywall costs, manage bids, and coordinate with vendors and customers.
-Support other members of the Estimating team for product line collaboration -Assist in other duties as assigned such as change order management or billings depending on the project(s) -Involvement in internal bid reviews with supervisors and project teams -Establish labor productivities for estimate -Hand off secured projects to the Operations team -Participate in customer alignment objectives by creating and maintaining positive customer relations -Maintain positive relationships with area vendors for competitive material and equipment pricing -Perform quantitative takeoffs on construction projects -Utilize wage and benefit schedules
-Understand the market conditions including competitive approach, backlog, level or risk for work, and other factors for establishing margin percentages -Excellent communication and customer service skills. -Strong ability to read, understand and interpret specifications and drawings for PCI’s scopes of work. -Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, BlueBeam Revu, Procore, or PlanSwift. -Experience with estimating/project management/managing drywall scopes of construction. -Proficiency with computer takeoff & estimating software such as On-Screen Takeoff and Quickbid. -Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or related discipline -Strong record of establishing and maintaining customer relationships. -High level of attention to detail and cost analysis. -At least 3 years of experience estimating construction projects. -Ability to accurately read schedules for sequencing and durations of applicable scopes of work.
