Overview

Design and deliver safety‑critical electrical systems for Rolls‑Royce submarines.

Tasks

-Work closely with the project engineer and multi-discipline teams to develop detailed plans and estimates to meet business objectives. -Undertake or support all design tasks from scoping and blank page design to authoring substantiation and safety documentation and supporting procurement through the manufacture, test and supply of components -Production of technical reports/operating manuals etc. to a high standard. -Responsible for delivery to cost, specification and programme.

What You Bring

-A good understanding of a design process from scoping to delivery. -Must have a degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent level of continuous professional development and experience. -Electrical controls and instrumentation design experience, and an understanding of electrical design principles. -Project or Technical Co-ordinator experience in a service / engineering or manufacturing environment. -Ideally have experience of design work related to a submarine NSRP. -Electrical Design experience with bespoke safety critical products
