Analyst supports utility & IPP origination, evaluating finance, policy, and market opportunities.

Tasks
-Support origination team that sells and markets to utilities, IPPs, Co-Ops, and other potential utility-scale customers -Work with regulatory and policy experts to track and incorporate policy efforts -Build and maintain strategic relationships with consultants, partners, EPCs, Independent System Operators (ISOs), government agencies, and other industry stakeholders who impact customer decision-making -Support to identify, target, analyze, and execute on utility opportunities for Bloom’s utility scale product offerings including requests for bids (RFP/RFI) opportunities, bilateral agreements, develop proposals, and other commercial materials -Evaluate market conditions, market revenue potential, customer feedback, and regulatory landscapes to capitalize on new opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly -Communicate key deal points and present recommendations to executive management -Support evaluation of financial viability, policy and regulatory review, development, and go-to-market strategies -Travel to customer meetings and relevant industry conferences as necessary -Provide input into the business plan and origination strategy -Project manage cross-functional teams to execute product offerings and proposals

What You Bring
-Creative problem-solving and ability to work with ambiguity -Ability to be externally facing and conduct customer and partner meetings -Must be graduating between May 2024 and August 2025 -Ability to manipulate and synthesize financial models -Ability to act independently in an unstructured environment, operate proactively and have a passion and appreciation for the vision and mission of the company -Strong self-starter who is a team player and can work independently -Excellent communication skills - both written and oral -MBA or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. -1-4 years of relevant energy experience -Willingness to travel as required -Strong analytical, financial, and presentation skills -Detail-oriented with a strong sense of personal responsibility and ownership of work product -Experience quantitative and qualitative analyses
