Tasks

-Develop commissioning procedures for efficient digital substation deployment. -Develop specification documentation employing the Top-Down Engineering approach and utilizing readily available tools. -Serve as a subject matter expert in digital substations; IEC 61850, centralized protection, and digital twin technology. -Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of digital substations for our clients. -Stay updated with the latest advancements in digital substation technology and contribute to our innovation initiatives. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate substation automation into broader grid management systems. -Configure protection relay devices from various vendors, including SEL, Siemens, ABB, GE, and Schneider. -Provide technical guidance to ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices. -Develop and lead protection and control maintenance training programs. -Develop conceptual single-line diagrams and network diagrams.

What You Bring

-Excellent listening, reading, communication (technical, written, & verbal), attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. -Demonstrate proficient troubleshooting skills in protection and control, automation, and relay networks. -Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with 1+ years of power industry experience, or a similar combination. -Configuration expertise of protection relay devices from vendors such as ABB/Hitachi, SEL, and Siemens.
