Assistant Project Manager

Overview

Support senior managers in delivering large engineering and infrastructure projects in the Middle East.

Tasks

-Monitor key project deliverables to ensure quality, timeliness, and compliance with Zutari’s PMU processes. -Liaise with design teams, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to support effective communication and approvals. -Assist with change management, cost control, and procurement support. -Support in developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and risk registers. -Contribute to continuous improvement and adoption of innovative project management practices. -Facilitate meetings and workshops, capturing action items and ensuring follow-through. -Assist Senior Project Managers with day-to-day project delivery and coordination. -Help prepare and review progress reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal and client use.

What You Bring

-Familiarity with project controls, risk management, and reporting tools (Primavera P6 or MS Project an advantage). -3 - 5 years’ experience in project coordination or assistant project management within engineering, construction, or consultancy environments. -Confident communicator who can engage with multiple stakeholders. -Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. -Previous experience in the Middle East (preferred but not essential). -Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized. -Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking mindset. -Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. -Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment. -Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); knowledge of BIM/digital tools a plus. -Adaptable and eager to learn from senior project leaders.
