The Role

Overview

Write, edit, and manage French proposals and marketing content for WSP’s R&I team.

Tasks

-Provides support/guidance to the proposal development and delivery team and ensures the greatest possibility of success by supporting compliance, readability, quality and sales messaging of pursuit related materials -Helps edit down copy to meet page limitations -Provides copy editing, proofreading, and final reviews for our proposals and marketing deliverables -Develops and writes content for WSP proposals, discussion papers, Grants, collateral and other marketing deliverables -Delivers high-quality writing for proposals and presentations, including gathering information through research, statistical reports, and interviews with technical staff -Serves as an author for sections on proposals to convey technical information simply and to tell our story -Applies new technologies and innovations across the business for proposals and presentations, including creative media approaches and other types of digital tools -Supports the development of differentiators, value propositions, and key messages -Leverages resources across the firm to support all stages of the pursuit and differentiate WSP to the client -On an as-needed basis, supports marketing coordinators and managers with proposal production

What You Bring

-5+ years of experience in a relevant role -Understanding of journalistic writing styles, including the inverted pyramid approach -Ability to build trust and influence others and work with all levels of staff -Ability to write and produce stellar, compelling content under tight deadlines -Ability to follow a style guide like AP -Possesses a strategic mindset and sound judgment -French competency level C1 is prerequisite. -Employment with WSP India is subject to the successful completion of a background verification (“BGV”) check conducted by a third-party agency appointed by WSP India. -Cultural awareness, conscientious and open mind. -A self-motivated team member, who demonstrates initiative to go above and beyond the task at hand, and can effectively multitask -Excellent verbal and written communication, critical thinking, marketing strategy development, group facilitation, and teamwork -Bachelor’s degree, with a preference for a degree in Engineering, journalism or English -Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, and other communications-related software programs
