Overview

Handle warehouse shipping/receiving, operate forklifts, maintain inventory

Tasks

-Help pack and unpack shipments. This includes processing, scanning, and shelving parts, pulling orders, and entering data into the inventory control systems. -Audit warehouse inventory reports using physical checks to ensure accurate system accounting. -Operating forklift for loading and unloading trucks. -Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion. -Perform labeling of materials under required procedures. -Maintain upkeep of stockroom and other storage areas and merge existing stock to improve space usage. -Maintain clean and safe working environments. Sweep and mop floors. -Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and mentorship. -Assist with loading and unloading merchandise or material from cars or trucks.

What You Bring

-Experience with warehouse with GMP Materials & Pharmaceutical environment is a plus but not required. -Forklift experience is required; candidates must demonstrate proficiency in operating forklifts safely and efficiently in a warehouse environment. -Physical requirements to include stooping, standing, climbing, and frequent lifting of a minimum of 50 lbs. -High School Diploma or equivalent experience or GED or equivalent experience with up to 2 years of job-related experience. Should hold forklifting experience and will certify while on the job. -Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mentality. -Will operate manual and motorized ride on pallet jack. -Communication skills to exchange straightforward information. -Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. -Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
