Tasks

-Stay current on industry trends, new technologies, and evolving regulations to ensure designs are innovative and compliant with the latest standards. -Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including structural, civil, and environmental engineers, to deliver integrated solutions for bridge projects. -Review design calculations, drawings, and technical specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements and industry standards. -Assist in the management of bridge design projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with client specifications, codes, and regulations. -Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the design meets their needs and expectations and provide technical support throughout project phases. -Lead and support the design and analysis of bridge structures, including conceptual design, detailed design, and load-rating analysis using industry-standard software and methods. -Provide technical guidance and recommendations to junior engineers and support the development of innovative design solutions that meet project objectives.

What You Bring

-Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a demonstrated ability to address complex engineering challenges. -Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification -2 to 4 years of experience in bridge design and engineering, with a focus on transportation infrastructure projects. Proficiency in bridge design software (e.g., MicroStation, AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, LARSA, or similar), as well as a strong understanding of AASHTO, local, and international design codes and standards. -Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree in Structural or Bridge Engineering is a plus. -Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment -Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
