Tasks

-Overseeing technical design deliverables for civil infrastructure projects including construction drawings and specifications, calculations, reports, and presentations. -Serving as a task/discipline lead or project manager for civil engineering projects. -Liaising with Package Managers to assure Work Packages are compliant with project requirements -Build internal and external client relationships with other engineering disciplines and project managers, and clients in the business sectors -Leading in civil engineering design within the projects and writing of contractor’s scope of works

What You Bring

-Utilizes advanced techniques and the modifications and extension of theories, precepts and practices of the field and related sciences and disciplines -A bachelor’s level degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent (a master’s degree would be considered an asset) -Professional Engineer (P.E.) status in Pennsylvania -10+ years of relevant industry experience in civil engineering across Water, Transit and Transportation Infrastructure sectors. -Ability and enthusiasm for supervising the work of others, including QA/QC and approval of key deliverables -Proficiency in civil engineering software, strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities and demonstrable technical lead and collaborative capabilities -Excellent coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams. -Effective communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills; able to collaborate effectively with all levels of staff and clients (technical and non-technical) and nurture the development of junior staff
