Tasks

-Communicate with the applicable departments to meet required deadlines for customer quotes -The employee is frequently required to talk, hear, and bend and twist neck. -Prepares estimates from provided drawings, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. -The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and rarely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. -Responsible for providing the overall sign cost for each type of sign. -Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying drawings, blueprints, specifications, and related documents; Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labor expenses Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements. -Construct estimate, in digital estimating forms, all labor, all material components and component pricing.

What You Bring

-Understanding of sheet metal fabrication, electrical assembly, sign service and sign installation is a plus -Proposal experience with knowledge of cost estimating and RFP process -Internal candidates who have demonstrated at least 3 years relevant skills and performance may be considered without meeting the 3-year estimating and proposal experience requirement. -Excellent math skills -Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision. -General construction background helpful -Proficient with Windows 10, Microsoft Outlook and Excel a must -At least 3 years of estimating experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment -Manufacturing experience is preferred -Ability to read blueprints helpful -Sign Industry background is preferred -Excellent communication skills -Excellent organizational skills
