CITIZENSHIP: Pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship. -First/Aid CPR -Ability to work on remote or distant projects as needed for several weeks at a time. -Boaters Card / QM -Must have valid driver license and submit driving record for the past three years. -Ability to wear a commercial diving hat 25-32.5 lbs., for approximately 5hrs daily. -Current ADCI Card -Ability to work outside the United States. -IMCA Certified/International Certification cards -OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour construction course certificate. -Previous maritime experience and knowledge of diving support equipment. -Must possess working knowledge of industry requirements for equipment. -Must possess a current diving physical or be able to pass a diving physical. -Must be a graduate of US NAVY Second Class Dive School, or a commercial diver training program accredited by the Association of Diving Educators (ACDE) or other as recognized in IMCA. -Current Passport -Learn and understand routine and emergency procedures. Ability to identify and report any equipment faults, other potential hazards, near misses or accidents. -1-3 years of underwater diving experience. -The complex design and high-performance requirements of various underwater systems found on U.S. Navy ships and submarines requires an applicant to be trained in sound management and use approved equipment to mitigate risk of damage to extremely delicate vessel systems. To ensure quality workmanship and protect critical shipboard components, only applicants who can qualify shall perform underwater cleaning and inspection. The diver must become familiar with configuration of the vessel's underwater systems, operation of cleaning equipment, and cleaning procedures and precautions to safely conduct specific cleaning, inspections, and repairs. -Current certifications of all diver owned equipment (i.e., Hat, harness, etc.). -Mechanical background – maintenance and repair of small to large engines or components, a plus -Ability to work in all weather conditions, rain, sleet, storm, snow, heat, etc. -Must possess or be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) Card and DBIDS (Defense Biometric Identification System) Card -NDT UT/MT/VT -Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively.
