The Role

Overview

Assist PM in planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and reporting for construction projects.

Tasks

-Uphold the core safety values of the company and collaborate with the EH&S Director to effectively communicate and enforce safety standards. -Participate in and monitor the procurement process, cost control, and change management systems. -Perform field inspections to verify quality and accuracy of construction. -Support the Project Manager with developing the budget, schedule, and construction service plans for various elements of the project. -Attend project meetings including pre-award, pre-construction, project progress and final close-out. -Cultivate and maintain effective relations with the Client, project team, engineers, subcontractors, and field personnel. -Assist with compiling and distributing reports on all project phases and financial performance. -Travel to the project site as needed to monitor project activities. -Work closely with project management team to identify and allocate resources, including personnel and materials. -Monitor progress, tracking timelines and construction activities according to schedule.

What You Bring

-Organized, Problem-Solver with ability to multitask. -Detail oriented with strong documentation and reporting skills. -Proficiency with MS Office, and other Microsoft Office products. -Previous experience with federal government contracting or federal construction activities is a plus. -Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field highly preferred. Previous related work experience may substitute. -You must be a US citizen. -You will be required to obtain Military Base Access Security Clearance. -Two-four (2-4) years of experience with industrial/commercial building construction, materials, systems, field work or similar is required. -A valid driver’s license required. -Must have excellent analytical, organizational, oral, and written communication skills.

Benefits

-We reserve the right to pay more or less than the posted salary range based on factors unrelated to sex. -We offer an excellent benefits package that includes medical insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, 401k with company contribution, paid time off and paid holidays. -Salary range: $70,000-$85,000/year based on experience, plus eligible to participate in Short Term Incentive Plan.
