Project Controls Manager

Tasks

-Ensures project activities execution within Project Services disciplines are in accordance with Global Business Management System (BMS) Standards and Project Services RACI -Lead cross functional collaboration in problem solving, lean SSI initiatives, Obeyas -Develop and issue the Project Control Procedures -Reviewing and validating the below deliverables prepared by the team or others : -Assist pro-actively the Project Manager on the identification of preventative measures or corrective actions, as much as required to improve the project status and risk mitigation -Co-ordinating the internal record of all project change and assisting in the preparation of change Orders and/or Claims in compliance with our standard Management of Change process -Issues progress reports internally and to Client / Partners -At project close –out, responsible to issue feedback report and lessons learned, for Project feedback but also for discipline data-base -Ensure that project complies with Subsea gate compliances through the life cycle of the project -Work with Cost controllers to ensure Cashflow tracking and forecasting of payment milestones -Provide the Project Director / Manager, with comprehensive and reliable data and information about the Project Status (actual, forecast, trends) to drive decisions -Ensuring all reporting package teams have access to accurate information timely -Management of the Project Risk Register and follow up with help chain owners -Analyzing the actual status and forecast for Cost, Progress and Schedule -Support internal and external audits

What You Bring

-Strong proven experience in project services in the offshore/onshore oil & gas industry, or construction industry with exposure to large-scale EPC or EPCM projects -Ability to present analysis & recommendations in a simple but compelling way. -Strong understanding of the principles of contracts management, cost control, planning and scheduling and risk management and project management reporting -Ability to work to stringent deadline and prioritise work under pressure -Highly resourceful in searching and filtering information -Able to demonstrate a high level of financial & commercial awareness. -Self-motivated and persistent -Working knowledge of Primavera and Microsoft Project Scheduling Software -Advanced MS Excel skills -High standard of written and spoken English. -Able to work within and contribute to a motivated and professional Project Team. -CCS Baseline and Re-baselines when required -Excellent numeracy & analytical skills -The ability to maintain independence within a project team and to ensure that detailed and accurate reporting is maintained and passed through both direct and functional reporting lines
