Senior Planning & Scheduling Engineer

Lead planning & scheduling for large-scale infrastructure/land development projects in GCC.

Tasks

-Conduct schedule reviews, scenario analysis, and “what-if” planning exercises to optimize project delivery. -Preparation and review of options for phased deliverable to meet Program milestones. -Mentor and guide junior planning and scheduling engineers. -Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using recognized planning tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent). -Coordinate with project management, design, civil, MEP, and other disciplines to integrate schedules across all project activities. -Monitor project progress and provide early identification of schedule risks and delays. -Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and executive summaries for senior management and clients including providing technical support for Program presentations -Support risk management by identifying potential schedule-related risks and proposing mitigation measures. -Preparation and review of master Level 1, 2 & 3 schedules including monitoring progress against specific schedules provided by 3rd party appointed Consultants including but not limited to PMO, PMC and Contractor. -Ensure adherence to project milestones, critical path analysis, and timely completion of activities. -Support preparation and implementation of Program level KPI performance indicators, compliance, improvements and risks -Support program controls, planning and implementation. Including coordinating high-level resources, schedules and budgets in line with Program objectives

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; Master’s preferred. -15+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling for large-scale land development or infrastructure projects. -Strong knowledge of scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent). -Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. -Ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams and manage complex project schedules. -Proven experience in GCC countries, preferably Saudi Arabia.
