The Role
Overview
Provides operations & maintenance for water/wastewater systems as part of a circuit rider team.

Tasks
-Collect compliance samples and deliver to the laboratory as required. -Execute routine operations activities for treatment systems to ensure proper treatment and compliance with the permit requirements. -Utilize instrumentation and field kits to monitor typical operations parameters (pH, dissolved oxygen, etc.). -Respond to emergencies or alarms at treatment systems. -Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management. -Computer - using computers and their applications to enter, manipulate, edit and manage information and online regulatory reporting systems. -Perform routine maintenance tasks as required. -Assist with the completion of regulatory reports as required. -Visit treatment systems on a regularly scheduled frequency (daily, weekly, bi-weekly, etc.) as required. Weekend or holiday visits by the on-call representative are required for some treatment systems. -Coordinate with the licensed operator to make process adjustments as required for permit compliance. -Inspect the mechanical and control components for proper operation. -Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects. -Complete work tasks under the supervision of a licensed operator. -Assist team members in completing minor repairs and/or installing new equipment. -Technical - performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed; using instrumentation and field kits; monitoring meters, controls or other indicators to make sure the treatment systems are working properly; controlling operations of equipment or systems; performing repairs and installing new equipment; reviewing and understanding sampling results; and completing regulatory reports.

What You Bring
-Mechanically Inclined - experience with completing routine maintenance tasks and performing repairs on mechanical, electrical, and piping systems. -Basic - the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with others; reading comprehension; giving full attention to what others are saying and taking the time to understand the points being made; using learned methods and procedures appropriate for the situation. -Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history. -High school diploma or equivalent. -Minimum 0-2 years’ related experience or the equivalent in training and related experience.
