Create detailed CAD/BIM designs for bridges and related structures using 3D software.

Tasks

-Support Development of 3D Bridge Models -Develop details for complex concrete and steel bridges which may include: prestressed concrete, cast-in-place concrete, steel plate girder, segmental and cable-stayed, and box culvert -Prepare detailed drawings, layouts and sketches for conventional concrete and steel bridges, retaining walls and miscellaneous structures using computer-aided design software

What You Bring

-Experience working with BIM, OBM or other 3D CAD software -Technically qualified with 3D design software and document management infrastructure -Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational traits are essential -Competency of Microsoft Office products and communication tools -Associates degree in Engineering Technology -Basic understanding of engineering or architectural concepts -Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office -Attention to detail is highly desirable -Experience in bridge structural drafting -Experience and knowledge of TxDOT CAD Standards, knowledge and experience of other DOT Standards is a plus. -Demonstrate ability to work independently with direction from supervisor and engineers
