Project Lead - MEP

Tasks

-Review and validate MEP designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with client requirements and industry standards -Manage commissioning and testing of MEP systems -Lead MEPF design and installation activities for commercial office fit-out projects -Conduct regular site inspections to monitor installation quality and progress -Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless integration of MEP systems -Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, RFIs, and change orders -Develop and manage project schedules for MEP works -Prepare technical reports and documentation for project handover -Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards -Occasionally required to work outside normal business hours to accommodate project schedules -Perform cost analysis and budget management for MEP components -Participate in client meetings to discuss technical requirements and provide expert advice

What You Bring

-Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering -Technical expertise in MEP systems and office fit-out requirements -Professional Engineering license or certification -8+ years of experience in MEP engineering with specific focus on commercial office fit-outs -Experience with MEP coordination tools and BIM software -Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and fire protection in commercial environments -Knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes -Experience with construction management software -Project Management Professional (PMP) certification -Experience with sustainable building practices and certification processes (LEED, WELL, etc.) -Project management skills including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation -Experience with commissioning and troubleshooting MEP systems -Knowledge of building automation systems and energy-efficient design practices -Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail -Proven track record of successful MEP project delivery -Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications -May require travel to various project locations -Familiarity with relevant building codes and standards -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -Knowledge of sustainability practices and energy-efficient design
