Associate Field Engineer - Automated Logic (ALC)

Overview

Commission, install, troubleshoot building automation systems for customers.

Tasks

-Provide turnkey project delivery on small to mid-level projects. -Offer effective solutions for system issues. -Responsible for ensuring that systems operate properly, to include controls, sensors, and software. -Initiate, install, troubleshoot, and optimize customer systems that utilize advanced Direct Digital Control technology. -Provide site-specific training to owners/operators on the complete system. -Implement time management strategies to ensure customer satisfaction. -Load software, configure trends, alarms, and reports. -Communicate and document the status and details of the project for the customer.

What You Bring

-Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment over 8 feet above grade and capable of lifting items up to 50lbs. -Experience with building automation software, such as WebCTRL, and installing building automation controls. -Working knowledge of TCP/IP networks including wireless technology. -Bachelor’s degree, associate degree, Technical/Business School Certificate or Diploma in HVAC, Controls, or related field. -High School Diploma or GED. -Experience in Building Automation, HVAC controls, or related field. -Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. -Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience. -Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications. -Valid and current Driver’s License and can be insurable by the company’s insurance.
