Tasks
Variation Tracking and Valuation -Maintain a comprehensive variation tracker for all subcontract installation packages. -Supporting the scheduling department with applications -Monitor and manage subcontractor accounts from award to final account. -Review and process subcontractor payment applications. -Ensure variations are captured early and communicated internally. -Assist in preparing payment notices and certificates. -Liaise with site teams and subcontractors to gather supporting evidence for variations. -Assist with the procurement and onboarding of subcontractors. -Capturing value recovery borne from subcontract installations -Challenge client assessments -Record, assess, and value change events in line with contract procedures. -Prepare and issue subcontract orders.

What You Bring
We are seeking a diligent and motivated Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial team with a strong emphasis on subcontract account management and variation control. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing subcontractor accounts, ensuring accurate valuation of works, and maintaining real-time variation logs for effective cost management across live projects. -Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. -Mansfield NG19 0FL: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) -Quantity Surveying: 2 years (required) -Experience administering formal subcontracts orders JCT, D&B & NEC -JCT, D&B and NEC -Mansfield NG19 0FL (required) -Strong understanding of cost control principles and practices. -Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. -Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. -Previous experience in a QS role is required.
