What You Bring

-Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance. -Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, operational procedures, etc. -Ability to constructively manage multiple tasks. -Demonstrated time management skills. -Ability to effectively present information in one-on one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. -Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. -Ability to participate in storm restoration activities as a Damage Assessor, Team Lead or Field Supervisor/Manager -Demonstrated negotiating skills. -Demonstrated team player. -EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE -Self-motivated, savvy, reliable, trustworthy, as well as technically competent. -Preferred A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or University in non-engineering science, math or business. -Wet, humid conditions (non- weather) (Occasionally) -Work near moving mechanical parts (Occasionally) -REGULAR ATTENDANCE is required. -Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret spread sheets. -Ability to deal with a variety of individuals from various socio-economic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. -Extreme Heat (non-weather) -Effective oral and written communication skills. -Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. -Required High school degree or GED. -Ability to write reports, Business correspondence, and procedure manuals. -Possess valid driver’s license and vehicle suitable for business use (mileage reimbursement may apply). -Preferred Associates degree (AA or equivalent from two-year college or technical school). -Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. -Outdoor weather conditions (Occasionally) -Proficient user of personal computer, particularly Microsoft Office based on applications.
