Tasks
-Mentor and train junior staff to support professional growth and technical excellence. -Work with Project Managers to actively manage budgets, utilization targets, and project financials. -Develop electrical design drawings for building systems, including one-line diagrams, load analyses, and panel schedules. -Engage in professional associations and community involvement to expand KCI’s presence and build networks. -Plan, develop, and direct projects or engineering programs, collaborating closely with Project Managers. -Select and specify electrical equipment such as switchboards, panels, transformers, and lighting controls. -Provide technical oversight, guidance, and leadership in client and project team meetings. -Research and evaluate product data sheets to identify electrical requirements for equipment. -Assist with proposals, negotiations, and presentations to support business development and client relationship growth. -Oversee and coordinate the successful execution of electrical engineering projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards, schedules, and budgets. -Complete tasks within defined scope, schedule, and budget parameters. -Lead teams and supervise engineers, technicians, and sub-consultants as needed. -Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and review shop drawings. -Provide regular task performance updates and reports. -Ensure projects comply with KCI policies, ISO standards, and industry best practices. -Provide construction-phase support, answering design questions and coordinating with architects, contractors, and clients. -Conduct site visits, gather field data, and compare findings to base plans. -Participate in employee performance appraisals and contribute to talent development within the MEP practice.

What You Bring
-Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. -Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) -Master’s Degree -Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to construction management, quality assurance, and safety protocols. -Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. -Proven experience in project management roles, with a track record of successful project delivery. -Bachelor’s Degree in related field (AEC Industry) -Proven experience in planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling and monitoring engineering projects. -Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment. -Pre-employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment. Background and motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
