Tasks
This is a senior position responsible for overseeing all operations at our Leeds Depot, consisting of operational managers, drainage engineers, planners, and business admin support. You will be responsible for all contracts, commercial and private works, liaising with clients ensuring excellence in quality, safety, and customer service. -Ensure the service delivery and financial performance of major NEC contracted works, providing class leading customer service and excellent client relationships, working in collaboration with partners and internal departments. -Deliver a high standard of customer service and lead the underlying behaviours and attitudes that contribute to delivery. -Analyse data and reports, and proactively act on resource requirements, variances and business / client needs while showing a thorough understanding of business acumen. -Analysis of own performance and takes steps to improve this. -Ensure a high standard of HSEQ performance at the Leeds depot and with the operations teams. -Actively lead the Jet Aire Group’s health and safety culture and be an ambassador of JASafe Always. -Develop and maintain internal relationships with Sales, and other operational departments, to help ensure growth opportunities are realised and delivered. -Keeps people informed of progress on key tasks. -Understand and manage financial performance in line with the Leeds budgets, track and report on variances and proactively review to meet, or exceed, KPI’s and targets. -Oversee the programming and delivery of work from the Leeds depot, liaising with other depot operational managers to ensure effective and efficient working, and utilisation of Leeds resources.

What You Bring
-Proven experience within an operational environment at management level working to substantial NEC contracts. -Management qualification and relevant industry qualifications desirable, and / or relevant industry experience. -Always maintains the strictest levels of confidentiality. -Adapts their communication style to suit their customer / colleagues, responding to their feedback or queries. -Excellent administration skills are required. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Ability to lead a team, communicate effectively and grow a high performing operational team. -Developed commercial and financial understanding, with the ability to understand influences and impacts on costs / revenue. -Must be detail conscious with a high regard for accuracy and well organized. -Accepts new ideas and change initiatives.
