Tasks

-Cross-Functional Integration: Work closely with engineering, construction, and quality teams to embed project control strategies and support milestone achievement. -Vendor & Contractor EvaluationSupport procurement by evaluating vendors and subcontractors through audits, documentation reviews, and compliance assessments. -Technical Documentation ReviewReview engineering deliverables, schedules, and cost estimates to validate alignment with project objectives. -Vendor & Procurement Coordination: Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance of equipment and services. -Documentation & RecordkeepingMaintain accurate records of project schedules, cost data, change orders, and performance metrics. -Risk Management & MitigationIdentify project risks, lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions to maintain project integrity. -Project Controls Leadership: Oversee all aspects of project controls including planning, cost control, and reporting to ensure alignment with project objectives and client expectations. -Progress Monitoring & ReportingOversee site-based progress tracking, cost forecasting, and performance reporting to project leadership and stakeholders. -Performance Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost savings and schedule improvements through data-driven analysis and value engineering. -Supplier & Subcontractor PerformanceMonitor and report on supplier and subcontractor performance against project KPIs and contractual obligations. -Schedule & Budget Oversight: Monitor project timelines and budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and proactive risk mitigation. -Project Controls Strategy ExecutionImplement and manage project control strategies that support schedule adherence, budget control, and technical compliance. -Team Leadership & MentorshipProvide guidance to junior project control staff and contribute to the development of project control procedures and best practices. -Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to ADNOC’s operational, safety, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. -Cross-Functional CoordinationCollaborate with engineering, procurement, HSE, and quality teams to integrate project control measures across all disciplines. -Contractual Compliance OversightEnsure all project control activities align with contractual terms, quality standards, and risk mitigation frameworks.

What You Bring

-Significant experience and capability in management of contracts, budgeting, controlling costs, planning, scheduling and management of change -EPC experience -Member of recognized professional institute preferred -Bachelors Degree in a relevant technical or business discipline -Understands the use and applications of Project Controls department tools and systems -ADNOC experience preferred, GCC experience -Knowledgeable across engineering, procurement and constructions execution -Typically requires a minimum of 15 years of relevant industry experience in project control positions, including significant experience supervising and managing others -Both Operating Company and Service Contracting Company experience preferred
