Ensure reports required by the Client and by internal procedures are regularly issued.
Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
Identify the resources and organisation (skills, manpower, procedures, and communications) needed to achieve the control strategy; a "Projects Control Plan" document should be issued.
Support the Project Manager for the preparation of the Projects Close-out Report.
Support the Project Manager and the Contract Administrators during the contract changes/claims process providing the impact evaluation on costs and schedules.
Support the Project Manager's decision-making process providing all information necessary for a rapid identification of any unfavourable trend or any potential problem in time in order to start immediate corrective actions.
Specify the project controls requirements to Subcontractors and main packages Suppliers (to be included in the Request for Proposal documents).
Schedule and cost forecast are consistent and regularly reviewed reflecting the most updated information and current trends.
Establish the overall work breakdown structure and relevant coding system to meet all control requirements.
Prepare Master Schedule and internal Control Budget and Cash Flow.
Work closely with the Projects Managers to complete Projects on time and within the approved budget.
Support the Project Manager in all the most important meetings
Day to day cost management. Due to the size of the project, the PCM will also cover the role of the Cost Engineer on the project, managing and reporting on all cost control matters
Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modified schedules or plans as required.
Prepares project reports for management, client, or others.
Organise and maintain the best integration between scheduling and cost control and risk management functions ensuring that any activity is carefully planned and controlled in terms of time, budget, and scope of work.
Create a schedule/cost/risk awareness and education among all project's participants.
Assure the monthly issue of Project Status Report (PSR) and other reports as required by higher management.
Design and set-up the most suitable and effective control organisation on all projects to meet these objectives in compliance with contractual specifications.
Coordinate, during the execution phase, the maintenance of the Project Controls System ensuring it works effectively and Projects Status is assessed and reported.

The company was established in 2005 as a pioneering force in energy storage technology.
£300m funding
Raised Investment
The company secured £300 million in funding from key investors including the UK Infrastructure Bank and Centrica.
50MW/300MWh
Energy Storage Plant
A utility-scale energy storage plant capable of delivering 50MW power with 300MWh storage capacity.
400MWh
US Energy Project
A large-scale energy storage project with a 400MWh capacity in Vermont, United States.
It pioneered liquid-air energy storage, offering utility-scale solutions without geographic limits.
Its proprietary CRYOBatteryâ„¢ tech liquefies excess renewable power, storing it cryogenically for hours or days of dispatch.
Projects span from UK demonstrators to planned multi-gigawatt schemes in Australia and across the UK.
Systems deliver grid services like inertia, peak shaving, black-start, frequency support, and renewable firming.
With modular tanks and mature components, its storage scales cost-effectively and rivals battery and thermal baseload performance.
A standout: zero-emission, zero-water, non-chemically-based tech boasting a 30–40 year lifespan and half the LCOE of lithium batteries.
