Tasks

-Support the development and improvement of accounting policies and procedures. -Develop and manipulate complex Excel spreadsheets for reporting and analysis. -Create and submit invoices to customers. -Review and record payments from customers. -Assist with month-end and year-end close processes. -Prepare and review general ledger and bank account reconciliations. -Provide rate validation and billing support based on contract terms. -Prepare, post, and review journal entries. -Maintain monthly profitability reports for multiple projects. -Maintain, organize, and update financial records. -Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure accurate billing and reporting. -Audit and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper coding.

What You Bring

-Minimum **5 years of experience** in general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. -Office-based role with standard office equipment. -Project accounting or billing experience. -Experience with Oracle NetSuite. -CPA certification is a plus. -Payroll and financial reporting experience. -Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe. -High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. -Experience with computerized accounting systems. -Strong verbal and written communication skills. -Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. -Primarily sedentary with occasional filing and light lifting.
