Overview

Construct roof/floor trusses, cut wood, operate equipment, and maintain safety.

Tasks

-Operate equipment as trained and in accordance to designated safety standards. -Maintain a clean working environment. -Successfully translate work orders and building instructions into a quality finished product. -Adhere to company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook, etc. -Run trusses into roller machine. -Hammer gusset/plates onto trusses. -Move and stack trusses. -Visualize, define, plan, communicate, and implement the company vision and core values. -Safely construct floor and roof trusses in accordance with customer expectations and company procedures.

What You Bring

-Repetitive impact motion associated with hammering and other such construction activities. -Ability to achieve performance objectives in a time-sensitive and quality-centered environment. -Accurately cut angles in wood for trusses. -Demonstrate initiative and reliability with minimal supervision. -High School Diploma or GED. -Physical Work Requirements - Heavy: exerting up to 50 lbs of force regularly. -Able to function effectively as part of a high-performance production team. -Effective written and verbal communication skills. -Frequent bending, standing, lifting, and ongoing physical activity. -Practical mathematic and measuring skills.
