Overview

Maintain and service mechanical equipment, especially pumps, at a wastewater plant.

Tasks

-Respond to mechanical faults as they arise. -Perform regular preventative maintenance tasks and carry out repairs and servicing of pumps. -Maintain the operational functionality of Mechanical Equipment.

• clean licence

What You Bring

-Experience in maintenance of continuously operating plant, with experience in large continuous liquids and solids processes. -Laser alignment experience would be advantageous -Work safely in an industrial environment. -Pump servicing experience. -A qualified mechanical fitter having served a recognized mechanical engineering apprenticeship with National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering level 4 or equivalent. -A demonstrated commitment to comply with H&S standards and safe work practices. -Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. -Clean drivers licence essential, Class II drivers licence preferred. Hiab Experience is desirable.
