Tasks

-Inform PM of all issues, concerns, and accomplishments. -Serves as the senior site lead across any remote sites or office locations. -Provide support and guidance to GIS Analysts and GIS Developers in the performance of complex geospatial analysis. -Prepare and provide both written and oral reports to contractor management and Government representatives, to include the COR and CO. -Interact with Government management personnel and Functional Leaders -Document and monitor assigned tasks -Anticipate problems and provide mitigation and issue resolution. -Schedule and assign duties to subordinates and complete tasks within estimated time frames and budget constraints.

What You Bring

-Demontrated experience in the development of GIS applications using mobile and web-based mapping platforms. -U.S. Citizenship required to comply with government contracts -Experience with imagery and image analysis -Demonstrated knowledge in GIS technologies, best practices, and concepts. -DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD) -Degree Requirements: BS/BA in GIS, Geography, Cartography, Graphic Design, or other related field w/GIS or High School Diploma with relevant professional industry/program certifications. -Familiar with relational database fundamentals and concepts. -Shall have the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical computer users, both orally and in writing. -Demonstrated experience generating complex, multi-layered maps and performing complex geospatial analyses. -Travel: up to 15% -8 + years of experience in GIS, of which at least two years include direct supervisory experience of GIS professionals.
