Tasks

-Safety & Compliance: Follow safe handling and storage procedures for chemicals and materials; maintain a clean, secure storage area. -Logistics & Distribution: Determine shipping methods, calculate fees, prepare labels and documentation, and route goods to appropriate storage or customer pick-up areas. -Shipping & Receiving Operations: Manage the shipment and receipt of products, materials, and supplies, including verifying documentation, inspecting goods, and resolving discrepancies. -General Support: Maintain shipping and packaging supply inventory and perform other duties as assigned by management. -Packaging & Equipment Handling: Assemble containers, pack goods, and operate equipment such as forklifts and hand trucks for loading, unloading, and transporting items. -Inventory & Record Management: Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments using internal systems; track and organize yard storage parcels and related billing data. -Customer & Vendor Coordination: Communicate with suppliers, customers, and shippers to address damages, shortages, and returns.

What You Bring

-Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills and ability to manage priorities and workflow. -Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the construction services industry. -Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. -Technical Skills: Proficient computer skills with basic knowledge of data entry and inventory software programs. -Safety Minded: Understanding of safety regulations. -Forklift Experience: Previous experience operating forklifts. -Physical Conditions: Physically capable of climbing, kneeling, stooping, and lifting 30 pounds.
