Tasks

-From planning studies to final design, the senior electrical engineer will lead in preparing contract documents for plans, specifications, and cost estimates for complex projects -Manage several different assignments simultaneously -Provide quality control and quality assurance of electrical engineering plans, specifications, and estimates -Coordinate work with engineers of other disciplines and with project architects across multiple locations -Design lighting systems including associated control systems -Prepare detailed project electrical systems drawings -Prepare basis of design reports and technical for the project -Mentor junior staff -Select and prepare specifications for electrical equipment -Design full low and medium voltage electrical systems, including power, emergency power systems, batteries, lighting, fire alarm and signaling systems -Prepare load analysis for each stage of design -Presentations to clients

What You Bring

-Expertly apply knowledge of commonly used electrical engineering and design concepts, principles, best practices, codes, and guidelines related to electrical engineering industry -Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering -Proficient in Revit, 3D CADD. -Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) -Working knowledge of other building systems (e.g. door finish hardware, IT building communications, lighting controls and BAS networks) as these relate electrical systems -Experience working for a MEP firm required focusing on Mission Critical applications, experience designing medium-voltage distribution systems and emergency generation -Knowledge of NFPA Standards
