Tasks

-Communicating with customers using a coaching approach to build trust and achieve positive outcomes. -Carrying out verification and credit checks -Managing property shortlists and nominations in line with policy -Working closely with internal teams and external agencies to ensure effective allocations -Leading on complex cases and shaping the lettings service -Representing the organisation at stakeholder meetings and events -Mentoring and inducting new team members -Minimising rental income loss by achieving re-let targets -Supporting training and development across the team -Providing cover for the Team Leader and Lettings Advisors during absence

What You Bring

-Strong knowledge of lettings and allocations policies and housing legislation -High level of resilience and emotional intelligence -Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer handling skills -Minimum 3 years’ experience in a frontline lettings role -Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and housing systems -Experience working with vulnerable customers and resolving sensitive issues
