Senior Prefabrication Integration Specialist (Healthcare)

Tasks

-Develops knowledge of prefabrication resources, implementation guides and best practices -Analyzes project data related to prefabrication efforts to identify improvements and additional opportunities -Addresses questions and provides resources to project teams -Supports project-level efforts to integrate prefabrication work under direction from a Prefabrication Integration Manager -Implements prefabrication best practices on projects through presentations, training and individual conversations -Builds relationships with operations functions (Lean, Design, Pre-Construction, Virtual Design & Construction, Scheduling etc.) across JE Dunn to support increased collaboration and prefabrication utilization on projects -Identifies and recommends opportunities for integration, collaborating with Prefabrication leadership to develop actionable recommendations for project teams -Tracks and records prefabrication related project metrics, may conduct basic analysis -Engages cross-functionally with field, operations and supporting functions including JE Dunn’s Lean, Design, Pre-Construction, Virtual Design & Construction, Scheduling, etc. in support of prefabrication management -May assist with the development of prefabrication lessons learned and best practices including refining implementation guides -Contributes to project team trainings and communications highlighting prefabrication opportunities -Autonomy & Decision Making: Makes decisions on assigned areas of responsibility, provides recommendations to supervisor and refers all exceptions to supervisor, as needed. -Creates project-specific materials and tools that are applicable to the unique characteristics of each project and scalable across the organization

What You Bring

-Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds -May require extensive periods of travel -Answers more complex or detailed questions from project teams at all points from preconstruction to handoff to owners -Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally -In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered -Knowledge of the means and methods of manufacturing processes - Introductory -5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing and/or construction environment (Preferred) -Frequent activity: Sitting, Viewing Computer Screen -Occasional activity: Standing, Walking, Bending, Climbing, Reaching above Shoulder, Pushing, Pulling -Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture or related field (Preferred) -Communicates potential changes to processes and resources based on experiences seen supporting projects to prefabrication management -Communication skills, verbal and written – Intermediate -Organizational Skills - Intermediate -Knowledge of construction processes -Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs -Proficiency in MS Office – Intermediate -Ability to build relationships with team members that transcend a project -Ability to conduct effective presentations
