The Role
Overview
Install, repair, and maintain commercial electrical systems as a journeyman.

Tasks
-Provides technical assistance to other field employees as needed -Participates in toolbox talks, safety audits, and related safety functions -Direct, Lead and Mentor a team to complete proper installation of project goals -Maintains current licensing and training requirements -Analyzes blueprints effectively and utilizes such information on jobsite -Installs, maintains, and/or troubleshoots electrical systems in compliance with the National Electric Code (NEC)

What You Bring
-Must complete and pass a drug and background check -Ability to be organized, problem solve, and be solution oriented -Exceptional time management, accountability, and prioritization skills -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Must have 6 (+) years of heavy commercial electrical experience -Works as a member of a cohesive team while demonstrating ability to work without direct supervision. -Skillful knowledge of OSHA lock-out/ tag-out procedures, NFPA-70E standards and National Electrical Code -Ability to support a fast paced, demanding work schedule; could include late evenings and/or weekends -Demonstrates ability to layout conduit systems, various lighting systems, basic control systems, and feeders -Must have a valid and current State of Texas Journeyman Electrical License -Self-motivated, goal- oriented, and driven to accomplish department goals -HSA and FSA -Proficiency in Microsoft products, particularly Office (Excel, Word, Email)
