Tasks

-Conduct routine maintenance on generators to identify and address potential issues. -Stay updated on advancements in electrical technologies relevant to generators. -Adhere to electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations in all work activities. -Stay informed about updates to electrical codes and industry best practices. -Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless integration of generators into existing electrical systems. -Diagnose and repair electrical problems, including issues with wiring, controls, and other electrical components. -Collaborate with other technicians to solve complex electrical problems. -Analyze electrical schematics and diagrams to troubleshoot and resolve generator issues. -Provide technical support to clients and internal teams regarding generator electrical systems. -Install and wire electrical components of generators according to project specifications and electrical codes. -Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including service reports, inspection records, and test results. -Implement safety measures during installation, maintenance, and repair processes. -Test and troubleshoot electrical circuits to ensure proper functionality. -Perform load bank testing and other diagnostic procedures to verify generator performance.

What You Bring

-Basic mechanical and pipe fitting experience is beneficial -Experience working on gas engines or electrical wiring a plus -Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams. -Exceptional communication and customer service skills -Valid electrician’s license required, master preferred -Understand and follow written and oral instruction -High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electrical systems preferred -Problem-solving and Critical thinking abilities -Must be professional, reliable, and hard-working -3+ years of residential Electric or Generator installation experience; NCEER Certification a plus -Familiarity with tools and equipment -Pushing/pulling up to 100 pounds at a time -Must be able to lift and move up to 100 pounds at a time -Have great time-management capabilities and detail-oriented -Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions -Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards. -Valid driver’s license, possess and maintain a satisfactory driving record
