  • Validating and supporting the implementation of adequate HSE measures in project operations. Promotes and sustains a strong HSE culture within the organization.
  • Preparing / supporting in the preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements, local business/feeder factory indications, and Sales organization directives.
  • Contributing to identifying project pipelines and conducting technical needs assessments. Assists in designing calls for proposals and selection processes.
  • Supporting the local Sales organization and customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and in the preparation of demanding offers.
  • Leading the continuous improvement of technical estimation support for local and regional projects, under the guidance of the Estimation Manager and Local Division Manager (ELSE).
  • Ensuring consistent and effective management of the regional/local technical support portfolio, in alignment with ABB best practices and policies.
  • Analyzing customer needs and competitor offers through information from general market and the Sales organization.
  • Defining cost for the proposed solution and communicates it to the Sales organization

  • You hold current Driving licenses valid in UAE.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
  • Ability to assess and understand customer financial behavior and status.
  • skilled in conflict management and handling escalations.
  • 5+ years of industry experience in a relevant technical role.
  • You are at ease communicating in English
  • Degree in electrical engineering
  • Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and SAP systems.
  • Solid commercial understanding relevant to project estimation and execution
