We are seeking a Senior / Principal Firmware Engineer to support firmware design and development using VHDL and SystemVerilog. The role involves working closely with Systems, Hardware, and Software teams to deliver robust firmware solutions for complex systems. -Design and verification of firmware using VHDL/SystemVerilog -Documentation and configuration management

What You Bring

Hiring in Luton, Southampton, Derby, Edinburgh, Huddersfield & Newcastle DV Clearance will be required, meaning British Citizenship is also required. -UK citizenship required for SC clearance -Integration and debugging at hardware/system level -Strong communication and documentation skills -Embedded processor cores (e.g. ARM) -5+ years of VHDL/Verilog firmware development -Linux and scripting -RTCA/DO-254 DAL A/B experience -Aerospace/Defence background -Independent verification (SystemVerilog/UVM) -Experience with FPGA design flows (Xilinx, Intel, Microsemi) -Use of Mentor Graphics tools (HDL Designer, ModelSim/Questa, Precision)
