The Role

Overview

Coordinate and support drivetrain test projects, managing risk and resources.

Tasks

-Coordinate day-to-day technical activities and assist with project planning and scheduling. -Track project progress, identify issues, and support resolution with technical leads. -Capture lessons learned and contribute to process improvements. -Supervise junior engineers and technicians during test campaigns. -Prepare technical updates and presentations for clients and stakeholders. -Manage project risk through FMEA workshops, risk registers, and RAMS development. -Support procurement and logistics to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment. -Promote safe working practices and environmental awareness.

What You Bring

-Awareness of risk management tools and safety documentation (RAMS, FMEA). -Risk management training (FMEA, HAZOP). -4+ years’ experience in engineering or technical project delivery. -Understanding of project management principles, risk management, and planning. -Strong organisational and time management skills. -Familiarity with drivetrain, electrical, or mechanical systems in renewable energy. -Degree in engineering or scientific discipline (or HND with relevant experience). -Experience in business development and technical bids. -Experience managing project sub-tasks or small projects to time, cost, and quality. -Experience in ISO 17025 or ISO 9001 environments. -Competence in project planning tools (MS Project, Primavera P6). -Chartered Engineer status. -Broad engineering knowledge, including testing, design, and commissioning.
