Tasks

-Inspect areas after completion of works, high-power engine run-ups, etc., and report to the AM. -Enforce vehicular control measures during LVP operations. -Ensure vegetation growth in the Airside is as per regulations. -Support the safe coordination of aircraft movements on the apron. -Monitor temporary obstacles/obstructions and escalate issues to the Apron Control (AM)/ODM. -Observe traffic and raise violation. -Facilitate all approved works on the airside. -Maintain overall operational safety on the ramp. -Observe and report bird/wildlife activity in accordance with wildlife Hazard Management program. -Brief and supervise traffic marshals during LVP. -Respond to emergency situations as directed -Provide support for emergency preparedness exercise and drills. -Provide Follow Me services to Aircraft or other equipment/vehicles as per requirement. -Continuously monitor RT communication between ATC and aircraft Area of Responsibility (AOR) to ensure that instructions given to aircraft are correct, acknowledged, and followed properly. -Facilitate VVIP/VIP movements. -Supervision of vendor manpower during shifts – approximately 50 staff -Facilitate RMS operations on the apron/maneuvering area. -Provide "Follow Me" services to Aircraft/vehicles/equipment -Monitor apron activities to ensure compliance with safety and security protocols. -Inspect obstruction lights on all airside installations and report any unserviceability to the AM/ ODM. -Assist WHM team for deterrence of wildlife activities at airport. -Implement safeguarding procedures before initiating Low Visibility Procedures (LVP). -Maintain professional communication with ATC, AOCC, Apron Control or whenever situation arises with Aircraft. -Conduct routine inspections of Runway, Taxiways, Apron and other operational areas on regular intervals and follow up for timey closure of observations. -Report any issue with AM or ODM promptly. -Monitor hot works on the apron and facilitate their safe execution. -Conduct external inspections of all Passenger Boarding Bridges and report any abnormalities to the AM/ODM. -Prompt response to incidents/accidents at airside. -Coordinate the takeover and handover of the maneuvering area during runway maintenance. -Aid during fuel/oil spill situations and cordon off the area if required. -Monitor all works on the airside. -Maintain logs and complete daily inspections (RWY and Apron Area) checklist accurately. -Monitor, report and initiation of necessary preventive measures for any safety hazards within airside environment.

-Visual Aids Management (Practitioner) -Aerodrome Zoning & Safeguarding (Practitioner) -DIAL Security -Ability to follow instructions and SOPs precisely. -Aeronautical Information Systems (Practitioner) -Teamwork & Interpersonal influence -Willing to work in outdoors in various weather conditions and on rotating shifts including nights, weekend and holidays. -CISF, NSG, Delhi Police and IAF -Graduate with relevant exposure to Airside Operations / ATC. -Effective communication and reporting skills. -Proficient in MS Office, Internet usage -Low Visibility Procedures (LVP) & Night Operations (Practitioner) -Global Reporting Format Knowledge (GRF) (Practitioner) -Capability Building -General awareness of Aerodrome Design and Operations. Knowledge of Annex 14, DGCA CAR Section 4 Series B Part I, Doc 9157, Doc 9137 along with aviation and airport standards, policies and practices. -Must possess valid LMV driving license. -Airside Vehicle Operations (Practitioner) -Problem Solving & Analytical Thinking -Apron Management & Operations (Practitioner) -Social Awareness -More than 7 years’ experience in Aviation Industry
