Tasks

-Provide technical assistance for IT asset-related issues, including hardware and software troubleshooting. -Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency. -Receive, inspect, and tag new IT assets, ensuring they are entered into the inventory system. -Document processes and maintain up-to-date knowledge of IT asset management best practices. -Deploy laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and other IT equipment to employees, ensuring proper configuration and setup. -Track asset assignments, retrievals, and transfers. -Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance. -Follow established IT asset management processes and procedures. -Perform hardware diagnostics, coordinate repairs, and manage warranty claims. -Support laptop and mobile device refresh, upgrade, and replacement initiatives. -Support software assignment and license management. -Assist in the procurement of IT hardware and software, including custom and standard equipment. -Maintain accurate records of IT assets in the inventory management system. -Assist in the disposal of decommissioned IT assets, ensuring data security and environmental compliance. -Retrieve IT equipment from active and terminated employees, ensuring data security and asset recovery.

What You Bring

-Ability to identify process inefficiencies and propose solutions. -Must be able to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs. unassisted). -Proficient in managing IT hardware (laptops, mobile devices, peripherals) and software (Windows 10, macOS, iOS, Microsoft O365). -Ability to sit for prolonged periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and climbing. -Basic understanding of Active Directory, Intune, and device management platforms. -Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. -Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. This position is not eligible for sponsorship. -Familiarity with inventory management systems and IT asset tracking tools. -Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. -Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. -Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues. -Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with employees and cross-functional teams.
