Tasks

-Maintain calibration records for tools such as torque wrenches -Bending the body at the waist, the legs at the knees, and extending arms and hands in any direction in a repetitive manner continuously. -Monitor any applicable maintenance with outside suppliers -Update and compose training documents or operating procedures for department specific processes as well as maintain training records -Support all other department specific production processes -Support the shop employees with programs, processes, and maintenance -Support and work in production areas when needed on the floor -Update and maintain time sheets and toolbox sign in sheets -Scan and send documentation to the appropriate departments such as FLHAs, toolbox meetings and Crane Inspections -Required to wear personnel protective equipment at all times (i.e., hard hats, safety glasses, hearing protection, safety harnesses as required) and respirators when required. -Manage expense items (iProcurement/Requisitions) such as labels, stickers, lugs, gaskets, and other purchased parts -Using upper extremities to apply or exert a force continuously up to 50lbs. -Update and maintain employee tools and toolboxes records -Setup training courses with the coordination of HSE, Quality and HR

What You Bring

-Able to maintain body equilibrium and agility to prevent falling when walking, standing, crouching, ascending or descending stairs. -Must be able to climb stairs frequently throughout the shift. -Proficient with PC’s and MS Windows software (Word, Excel, Power Point). -2-4 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. -Continuous standing, walking 50-300 foot distances for long periods of time with only occasional sitting. -Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics, and mechanical drawings. -Data entry such as In-process inspections, discrepancy lists and HFDs (non-conformance) -Lean Manufacturing Principles (Yellow Belt) -Knowledge of practical or documented understanding of department specific tools and equipment -Working at heights usually no higher than 30 feet in the air on or using proper lift equipment. -Ability to use hand tools such as tin snips, hammer, and power tools (some vibrating), for long periods of time with frequent repetition. -Must have a basic command of the English language, both written and verbal. -Safety sensitive position in a temperature controlled manufacturing or industrial environment with occasional outside activities. -Able to frequently look over shoulders, work with both arms above shoulders and use both arms at full length frequently. -Must be able to work from all type of ladders (step ladders, "A" frame ladders and all size extension ladders) and scaffolding. -High School Diploma or GED
