Tasks

-Planning Board and public presentations, securing regulatory/agency permits and approvals. -Perform site visits and prepare Feasibility Studies. -Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, clients, and agencies. -Lead multiple projects and tasks within specific budgets, schedules, and deadlines. -Foster positive, cooperative, and rewarding relationships with clients. -Design and lead renewable energy projects, including site civil plans, landscape plans, engineering reports, calculations, specifications, construction detail, and other technical documents in support of municipal permit packages, issued-for bid and issued for-construction documents. -Coordinate Quality Assurance and Control review procedures for projects. -Manage multiple projects and support junior staff by inspiring teamwork.

What You Bring

EOE, including disability/vets. -Project and/or staff management experience. -New York State Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Registered Landscape Architect (R.L.A.) license. -Strong knowledge of site civil design, permitting, and land use regulations, including grading, drainage, stormwater management, and local municipal and state permit applications. -Public presentation and planning board experience. -Valid driver’s license and ability to perform limited travel to project sites. -Ten plus (10+) years of Site Development experience with knowledge of Site Civil Design with background in Civil Engineering or Landscape Architecture. -Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. -GIS Skills. -Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or Landscape Architecture from ABET-accredited four-year college or university. -Experience with local/state jurisdictional requirements for utility-scale, distributed generation, and behind-the-meter renewable energy applications. -Proposal writing and business development experience.
