Tasks
-Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs -Maintain staffing schedules for responsible areas in connection with planning, scheduling and execution of engineering/maintenance work -Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them -Make recommendations for systems improvement and capital projects through immediate supervisor or management -Furnish mechanics with basic data required in effecting overall and long-range planning -Furnish the Operations Manager / Chief Engineer or Regional Operations Manager with information related to criticality of buildings -Plan schedule of work and vendors in accordance with established priorities -Coordinate purchasing and inventory control procedures -Distribute and oversee work orders assignments amongst the team -Maintain liaison with Operations Manager / Chief Engineer or Regional Operations Manager regarding work orders, job completion dates and priorities and estimates -Perform weekly on-site Quality Assurance inspections of maintained facilities -Support preparation of monthly/quarterly operations reports -Maintain a clean and safe work environment -Respond effectively to all emergencies -Provide guidance and technical support to the team

What You Bring
-Completion of an applicable technical training program -5+ years of technical experience in building engineering with a strong background in technical aspects of repair and building maintenance. -Possess mechanical and electrical aptitude -3 years of experience in repair and building maintenance -High school diploma, GED or equivalent required -Excellent communication skills, both oral and written -Working knowledge of computer-based applications and programs including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook -Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
