The Role

Overview

Inspect, maintain, and repair motive power equipment, troubleshooting batteries/chargers.

Tasks

-Troubleshoot battery and charger systems. -Perform repairs at customer locations and Concentric shops. -Complete all work orders and customer facing documentation while adhering to Concentric SOP expectations. -Respond to client needs in a timely manner, while applying great customer service behaviors. -Perform routine preventative maintenance. -Work safely and follow all safety requirements.

What You Bring

-Experience in material handling environment is preferred, but not required. -Drivers must have a valid driver's license at all times. -Intermittent travel expected within designated territory, home most nights. -Drivers must be at least 18 years old to drive "Intrastate". Drivers must be at least 21 years old to driver "Interstate". -Work independently or with a team in a professional manner. -Working knowledge of basic AC and DC electrical/electronic theory. -Ability to clearly articulate ideas (both written and verbal) to both internal and external customers and to listen effectively to customer needs. -Ability to develop and maintain strong workplace relationships with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. -Drivers must follow the DOT's HOS regulations. -Ability to organize his/her own work and work independently, with limited supervision. -Strong communication, problem solving, and analytical skills. -Ability to work collaboratively with other departments toward the greater good of the organization. -Exercises a high degree of time management skill, resulting in greater than 90% time billable to customers. -Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment. -Drivers must be able to obtain a CDL to drive commercial motor vehicles or combination vehicles weighing more than 26,000 lbs. -High School or GED Diploma required. Prefer an associate degree from an approved two-year college or university or very strong equivalent experience. -Valid driver’s license - Company vehicle provided -A score card that reflects performance in areas such as safety, efficiency, work order completion, customer satisfaction, and issue resolution. -Willingness to work occasional overtime. -Drivers must have a valid DOT medical card or the ability to obtain DOT medical card per DOT/FMCA guidelines during the hiring process. Drivers must continue to maintain their active medical card status throughout their employment. -Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with diverse needs, and across remote offices.
