Tasks

Distribute punch lists as required and manage the process through completion Maintain relationships with project team, owners, architects, engineers, and municipalities. Assist in all final building, site, and fire inspections in order to obtain certificate of occupancy Understand, manage, and enforce subcontractor work scopes Coordination of deliveries from suppliers and installers Maintain daily/weekly project reporting requirements for daily journals, manpower, and safety Perform quality control inspections, ensuring requirements contained in the plans, specifications, and approved submittals are being followed Promote job site safety by performing daily/weekly safety inspections, toolbox talks and required reporting, understands hazards, and have the ability to correct them immediately Be able to identify potential issues on the project and utilize resources to find resolution Coordinate and schedule required testing and inspections Assist in the coordination all construction related activities Manage the final punch process for construction to owner takeover Coordinate and schedule municipal inspections with local authorities Monitor, update, and enforce the project schedule

What You Bring

Construction Management degree or similar Excellent communication skills Experience with construction management software Minimum of 1-5 years’ experience in the construction industry Ability to maintain composure and work through issues while under pressure Signature Construction is looking to fill two Assistant Superintendent positions in Kansas City, MO. Ideal candidates would have Multi-Family Construction experience, but it is not required. Qualified candidates should also have a thorough understanding of the building construction process, quality control, general safety knowledge, and experience with turnover procedures to the Owner. Individuals should have strong leadership skills and be able to communicate effectively with the project team and all parties involved. Experience with quality control and production of multifamily projects 10-hour OSHA certified Multi-Family Construction experience preferred but not required
