The Role
Overview
Leads operational strategy, analysis, and improvement for hauling collections

Tasks
-Directs and coordinates operations programs / plans including but not limited to Blue Crew, emergency response and disaster recovery efforts, and acquisition and contract start-up(s). -Coordinate with Geospatial Intelligence Systems (GIS) group to improve top-line and bottom-line growth through Route Optimization projects, Disposal Optimization projects and other GIS tools. -Collaborates with the Digital Operations team and the Area teams to successfully execute the operations transformation initiatives. -Analyzes monthly, quarterly and year over year (YOY) cost, margin and volume trends. Makes recommendations on strategies to improve performance. -Participates and collaborates with cross functional leadership to develop and deliver effective training, communication and documentation for operational effectiveness. -Prepares operational and financial reports for senior leadership team (e.g., Board of Directors, Executive Counsel, field leadership). Identifies favorable / unfavorable trends, and opportunities to reduce operating costs across the organization. -Works closely with the Customer Experience and Product Development teams to enhance the customer’s experience with the company. -Leads and participates in strategic line of business teams including planning, goal setting, evaluation and presentation of results. -Leads operationally-focused projects to enhance core operating systems and business intelligence reporting. -Leads cross functional strategic teams in gathering, analyzing and evaluating operational and financial data. Prepares and presents recommendations for short and long-term strategy. -Monitors field performance and collaborates with Area teams to provide support and expertise to help drive improvements.
