The Role

Overview

Coordinate health & safety on large industrial construction site in Chichester.

Tasks

-Help promote a positive health and safety culture across all levels of the project. -Collaborate with project teams and subcontractors to ensure compliance with company and legal safety requirements. -Support the investigation of incidents, near misses, and non-conformities, ensuring lessons learned are shared effectively. -Contribute to the continuous improvement of health and safety standards and practices across the business. -Conduct regular site inspections and audits, reporting findings and assisting in the development of corrective actions. -Support the implementation and monitoring of site health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures. -Assist in preparing and maintaining safety documentation including RAMS, site inductions, and toolbox talks.

What You Bring

-A proactive and hands-on approach with a keen eye for detail. -NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or working towards it). -Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels. -Full UK driving licence and willingness to be fully site-based in Chichester. -Experience working within construction, ideally on industrial, logistics, or large commercial projects.
