Tasks

-Maintain a culture of effective communication among project teams, clients, and other stakeholders. -Serve as a project manager for several concurrent water/wastewater projects which may vary in project size and complexity. -Participate in recruiting and hiring potential employees. -Diligent and timely compliance with and implementation of company business practices. -Collaborate in business development efforts including proposal preparation, new projects and client identification. -Staff engagement through recruiting and mentorship to build and strengthen the team. -Actively and effectively manage subconsultants performing services on projects.

What You Bring

-10+ years of experience in the field of water/wastewater/reuse engineering design. -Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. -Understanding of budgets and financial metrics. -Demonstrated Municipal water/wastewater/reuse planning, design, and construction of distribution, collection and treatment experience in Texas. -Strong passion to engage existing/new client organizations to identify and win new projects. -Demonstrated experience with managing small- to large-sized projects with full responsibility for budget, schedule, contractual obligations, and quality standards -Ability to be a Team Player and work in a collaborative setting. -Meticulous project financial management resulting in consistently profitable work. -Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team. -Bachelor’s degree in civil, chemical, environmental or mechanical engineering. -Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Texas. -Strong problem-solving skills. -Experience in preparing proposals and budget development. -Active in local professional associations.
