Tasks

-Operate equipment in quarry or production -May be involved in safety committees or initiatives -Operating front end loader -Maintain the operation of the cooler reversible belts which includes keeping tail pulleys clean and keeping water on belts when needed -Perform all necessary work area inspections and document discrepancies. This includes any heavy equipment checklist/inspections -Remove clinkers from cooler pits and stack in designated areas -Grease and inspect crusher screens in finishing plant daily and every shift· Run sweeper to keep concrete clean, washing of scrubber slabs -Perform tasks assigned in a safe and effective manner -Maintain the operation of cooler drives and keep area around the coolers clean -Keep tail pulley and catwalk cleaned on stockpile belts -Keep all above areas clean -Maintain the operation of the coal mills which include maintaining proper oil levels, water circulation through coal mills, grease appropriate areas when needed and keeping coal area clean -Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations -Assist in turning and replacement of hammers in crusher -Grease equipment in all areas of production as prescribed -Haul stack dust once a shift -Drive dump truck during cleanup of spillage in plant -Operate multiple pieces of mobile equipment (haul truck, farm tractor, water truck, rubber tire backhoe, front loader, etc.) -Operate dump truck -Follow all safety rules and practices -Perform all tasks in a safe manner which includes wearing proper personal protective equipment and follow safety regulations established by this company

What You Bring

-The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required and lift weights up to 60 pounds. -High school diploma or GED equivalent -Ability to operate multiple pieces of mobile equipment (haul truck, farm tractor, water truck, rubber tire backhoe, front loader, etc.) will train if needed -Operate bobcat -Be able to operate front end loader -A minimum of 1 year of experience -Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance is a must -The ability to work in a varied outdoor environment (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy, muddy, frozen, etc.)
