Tasks

-Mentor other engineers and interns, fostering team growth and knowledge sharing -Design roadway drainage systems, including culverts, closed systems, and erosion/sediment control -Conduct bridge hydraulic studies and stormwater modeling using tools such as OpenRoads Designer (ORD), HY-8, and HEC-RAS -Stormwater design for projects including both bid-build and design-build projects -Develop plans, specifications, and cost estimates -Prepare technical reports and coordinate permitting with local and state agencies

What You Bring

-Professional Engineer (PE) license in Michigan -Strong problem-solving and communication skills -MDOT, OpenRoads Designer Drainage & Utility and/or HEC-RAS, SRH-2D, SWMM knowledge/experience is a plus! -It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment. An employer who violates this law shall be subject to criminal penalties and civil liability. -A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering -Proficiency in MicroStation and ArcGIS -6+ years of relevant experience in water resources or drainage engineering
